You're invited to browse Lori's latest carvings and other works. Each bird carving is created from tupelo and painted in acrylics. All are one of a kind. Lori strives for realism and detail in all her bird carvings, whether meticulously textured, or smooth. Lori has been a full time bird carver since 2003, having given up her previous career as a structural steel detailer in order to persue her dream of bird carving.
Lori will accept commissions for any specie, from a hummingbird to an eagle.
In addtion to Lori's award winning bird carvings, you'll find limited edition prints, books recommended especially for the bird carver, bird carving and painting demonstrations, workshop schedule, and stories about the (incredibly) stupid things that Lori does to break up the long sessions of creating her art.
